Welcome MFMS Families!

It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year, the 50 year anniversary of Marco Forster Middle School! The PTSA, teachers and staff look forward to an amazing year.

PTA is a volunteer organization started in 1897 to improve the lives of every child. Today, it continues to put children first and brings parents, teachers, and students together through activities and advocacy at each school site.

The goal of the PTSA at Marco Forster Middle School is to support teachers and offer student programs and improvements. Fundraisers and volunteers are needed to support these endeavors and we look forward to participation from all families whether it is volunteering your time or service. We want to continue supporting student programs and this will be possible when our community comes together with their time and talent. Your time is valuable. Your time spent volunteering is invaluable.

Thank you to all those families who have already joined PTSA. If you have not yet had a chance, please consider joining to help us make a difference for our students. Membership forms are available on this site or in the front office.

Adult memberships are $12 each and a student membership is only $6.

In case you’ve wondered, here is a quick list of the ways PTSA supports the Marco Forster campus:

PTSA makes a difference at Marco Forster Middle School:

Reflections Art Program • Copies for Teachers • Library Books & Equipment • Family Fun Night • Parent Education Seminars • Spirit Wear • Staff Appreciation Week • Marquee • Afterschool Book Club • Silent Auction • Support for Student Clubs & ASB • Registration Support • Legislative Representative • Department Grants • Roadrunner Reading Buddies • Book Fair • Roadrunner Breakfast • Community Support • Discount Day at Hobie, Killer Dana & Local Restaurants

Of course, none of these things are possible without YOU! Whether it’s an additional donation to support campus programs, or a few precious hours of volunteer time, your contributions are essential to our success.

If we work together as a community, we can help make sure that all

Roadrunners are College Bound!

On behalf of the PTSA Board and Committees, we thank you in advance for all your support,

Kerry Quinn
2018-2019 PTSA President
